W H A C K - A - W O R D E N D U S E R L I C E N S E A G R E E M E N T Whack-A-Word is distributed as a shareware program. You are free to give away complete, unmodified copies of the program and its files as long as you do NOT receive money or other consideration for it. You are also free to try the game yourself 45 times before you buy it. But at the end of the evaluation period, you are required to make a decision: either delete it from your computer, or register it by sending a license & registration fee of $7 to the author. Of course, nothing disatrous is going to happen if you fail to register your copy of Whack-A-Word. But some good things will happen if you do! For instance, the 45 game limit will be removed, and the shareware reminders (with their 10 second countdown timers) will go away. You'll also be entitled to free upgrades to future versions of Whack-A-Word. Not to mention the peace of mind you'll experience from knowing that you've done the right thing. Whack-A-Word only costs $7 -- that's less than the price of a pizza nowadays! But your contribution to the "pizza fund" will help me continue to write and improve shareware games like Whack-A-Word.
